burnt out


made a trip down to school today under the sweltering sun.

while at the food court at bugis, i suddenly felt giddiness and suddenly my left vision was blurred.
i tot i was going to faint.

ate 2 spoonfuls of rice, and couldnt take it anymore.

rushed home and felt like vomitting.

took a really long nap and feeling much better now thou my head is still throbbing with pain.

sigh.

the last time i felt this way was when i was doing internship at citi.

it must be staring at the comp for too long.
but with the first draft due in less than 9 days and a mid term test coming up, i cant help.

over-exerted i believe.

wish me luck.

after walking around almost the entire day.

we landed with the best deal so far :)

and im pretty glad that ultimately we found out that both of us had the exact same model in mind.

it was pretty nice to see how our eyes looked like we both decided its the one.

came home having a really bad stomach upset. and feeling so weak now.

tons of work to do so i went to take a nap hopefully i can stay up tonight to do some work.

but still feeling lethargic. looks like the kopi peng during dinner time din help me.

today was a long long day at school.

the only highlight was visiting genki + new zealand natural with cheryl!

i had all by myself,
one plate of salom sashimi,
3 salmon sushi,
one salmon handroll,
one chawan mushi
& one scoop of chocolate ectasy.

it just those time of the semester when u seek pleasure from visiting the more exciting parts of sch.

情人节 快乐!

this year's vday celebrations for me had been exceptionally simple, yet it was a really sweet one. indeed, simplicity is bliss. :)

we pre celebrated on saturday since juss had night flying on vday itself. he brought me to have steamboat(yay!) at this restaurant at mount faber. the environment wasnt exactly tip top (given we were sitting outdoors and it got a little hot at times) but the food + service + night view was fabulous. and most importantly, the soup was so salty! yumms. :D







caught Walk The Line later on. its a really good show! honestly, much better than Memoirs of Geisha. definitely worth every single cent! :D i like the retro feeling although the singing scenes can be a little lesser. i fell asleep thru some of them. =/

on vday, juss showed up in sch in the morning to pick me up and we went for bk breakfast at holland v! :D had been a really long time since i had that. yumms..



it's really a very 幸福 feeling to have fast food breakfast!

walked the whole holland v in search of a cd shop cos the love me, kelly cd is out today! but it was in vain :( tats my onli 遗憾 for today) hahaha

this year's gifts were not exactly the lavish kind but i got a little surprise delivery!


my 老鼠爱大米 display+ chocolates. literally, there were rice grains in the glass holdings the roses. i went -.-''' when i saw it.

and the levi's polo i got very last minute on monday. i had really been too busy.

decided to make up for the efforts by turning up near his workplace today! took a 35 mins bus ride to sembawang!!

then we went to chomp chomp for our supper of sambal stingray + pizza! the pizza was pretty good, i find it amazing that hawker centers sell pizzas. hehs. definitely will be back for more!

sometimes life has a way of making fun of you..

when pple u used to dislike so much turns out to be ur gd friend now.

one very gd example is the fact that i used to be on not very gd terms with juss. even to that extent of thinking to myself that this person will definitely not be my kind. but look what happened, its a gd thing i nvr swear abt it.

i also had a not so gd impression of ln. but somehow when we skipped the first calculus lecture together, we started to be on the best terms ever.

and.. yu used to have this misconception abt me. and but somehow since the day we realised both the justins were in the same camp, we started to get closer.

there are mani more examples. pple whom i din have anithing to say to 325823203202 yrs again turned out to be potential good friend material.

on the other hand, pple that i immediately started to have 'hao gan' about turned out to prove me wrong.

i shant list the examples since bad things arent worth mentioning.

so my pt is sometimes it takes sth more to overcome this 'barrier' so that wadever misgivings can be straightened out.

hmmm.

mid week break. i finally understood why it's good to have wed as an off day.

these 2 days have been pretty suffocating.

the heart rules over the mind again.

sigh. ironically, im not happy at at the outcome, mabbe just 无奈.

mabbe when things are changed, its hard to go back to what it was..

or honestly, i think there's no such thing as "making up for" in friendships.

yesterday was 人日

happy birthday everione!

caught memoirs of a geisha.


its really worth watching! it got me really hyped up about the geishas, yes and japan. and sayuri's really really pretty in the show. ahh well, she's pretty almost all the time. but personally i think that the chairman wasnt too worth the big hoo ha.

the show was a little too long thou, and i drifted at some parts when it turned a little draggy. but definitely worth while to watch it! i might even consider reading the book(if i ever have the time) to catch up on some of the loose ends that i din get.

basically the rest of the night was spent lazing in juss' house and we had 'lao yu sheng' again! this was the 4th time i had it this yr. and im having it again tonight! that makes it 5. basically had it with almost all different types of fish. the usual raw fish, salmon (my fave) & even abalone. :D

yumms. new year is really good. :DDD

and juss came over this afternoon and we had steamboat at my house!


the 2 must haves: mummy's home made meat balls + seafood tofu!

basically few pple can understand my obsessions with the latter. but i had onli been able to have it when i go for steamboat at parkway. but that day i found this at carrefour!! and it tasted as good as the ones i had. :D

somehow, steamboat at home always makes me feel really happy. mabbe its cos we usually have it once a yr thus the significance of it increases. :)

my sister got me this CL figurine which is really small. (but well, its chicken LITTLE)

hee.. its really cute and i left it in the car yesterday :D



on a side note, i havent seen any CL soft toys at all, anyone knows where i can get one?

1) its cheryl babe's bdae today! happy birthday once again!

2) i learnt how to do the polaroid collages (like finally).

hehs, so because i like to do this looking back thing on pple's bdae, there would be a whole load of fotos coming up, (also because i wanna show off my skill, hehs, altho i know its damn easy)

and those days when the 5 of were cam whoring in lectures.


commencement 2005. when cher and me were the only two left out ones. rushed to clementi to get flowers. rushed back to sch. i rem my skirt was wet from all the flowers :(

anyway, i must be getting really old. waking up at 5 plus on tues + fridays seemed to have drained ALL energy out of me, i have no mood to hang out after sch on fridays.

met sis + mum for dinner at bugis. had planned to walk around but i was really feeling overly tired. my eyes could barely open.

my ideal fri night seems just to slack in front of the tv and be a couch potato these days. age is really catching up on me. hahaha

新年快乐, 万事如意!

it's been some time since i last blogged, sorry for the hiatus from blogging. i know there are some pple(though few) who checks my blog regularly. :D been really really busy with a capital B, averaging less than 7 hrs of sleep each day and on thurs and mon nights, in fact, about 4 hrs onli. sigh.

anyway, just wanna scream

MID TERM TALK'S OVER!!

anyway, i was really thankful for the support i got for the talk.(although not much) but it was really nan de that pple came down thou its at a very weird timing and its right after the long break. especially thankful for cheryl who help keep my speed in check and jiawen who msged me in the morning. small gestures but really sweet.

partly, cos of this presentation, i wasnt able to fully enjoy my CNY holidays. but i still enjoyed it!!

it was a really good break from everything plus lotsa quality time spent with family!

cut my hair (again) on CNY eve eve + do treatment. then went to china town with juss + his family. really crowded but that was my first feel of the CNY moood.

caught 霍元甲with him later on.


it was better than i expected but i dozed off about 3 times during the show. it was due to the 4 hr sleep i had the night before.

初夕 was spent packing and cleaning up my room and i headed to parkway for some shopping. then home for reunion dinner which was a simple affair as always.

初一 was spent at grandma's house and managed to catch up with the cousins. had both lunch and dinner there which were both a spread. after dinner, juss came over to my house to bai nian.and then i accompanied him to zw's new house for some mahjonging + black jack. and i won 34 bucks! its been really long since i last had any winning streak. but im still pretty sians of mj already. * clap clap*. got home at 4 am.

初 二 was pretty eventful. for the first time, my babysitter + her family came visiting in my house! then i headed to the river angbao with my family. then i went over to juss' house to bai nian + have dinner. then we settled down for some mj session with his fam and i lost 9 bucks. =(

spent the third day having lunch with juss' grandma at neptune restuarant. it was my first time meeting her and honestly, i was quite apprehensive, was afraid i din know wad to say to her. but im glad everithing worked out pretty well.

then i headed home to spend the rest of the evening doing my tut for this morn + prepare for mid term talk.
